Hello, my name is Emily Stanowski, and I am a part of the English IV Honors class at NCHS. This year we did an outreach project in which all of us researched an individual involved in the Holocaust and presented it to others to better educate people about the Holocaust. I chose Zhanna Arshanskaya Dawson because of her remarkable musical story. I researched Zhanna Arshanskaya Dawson and told her story to the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade classes at St. Ann’s Catholic School. I wanted a younger generation to hear a story of a Holocaust survivor because it is important to teach them these stories in order to protect the stories.
