Livia Bitton-Jackson (Born Elli L. Friedmann)
Survivor
My name is Kelsie Klingenberg, and I am a student at Nashville Community High School. In our English IV Honors course we always do an outreach project for our Holocaust Unit. I chose one of my hobbies, designing, and made a website. I chose Livia-Bitton Jackson because I had her book, I Have Lived a Thousand Years, since I was young and decided to read the book. As I read the book, I soon realized that this story was unique and should be told. Livia-Bitton Jackson's story of strength and perseverance, as well as her lesson to never give up has insprired me, and I hope it can insprire just one other person.
