I am Emily Thompson, and I created a Google presentation to share the story of Holocaust survivor, Jack Gruener.  He was only a child when he was sent to his first concentration camp of ten. He also survived two death marches.  I shared it with a fifth grade class because those students are similar to Jack’s age at the time.  I wanted to share Jack’s story because his survival is truly a miracle and child survivors also need their stories shared.
